About Fresno Pro-Am:
The Fresno Pro-Am Basketball League was founded by brothers Alton Williams, Seth Stanley, and Ryan
Williams with the vision of bringing high-level basketball competition to Fresno. Modeled after
renowned leagues like the Drew League in Los Angeles, Fresno Pro-Am offers a unique platform where
current and former NBA players, NCAA stars, and local high school and college athletes can compete
together.
Season Highlights:
● NBA Talent: Fans can expect to see appearances from current and former NBA players, including
notable names such as Rudy Gay, Orlando Robinson, and Jaden Hardy. The league has also
featured former NBA player Quincy Pondexter, who continues to support the community
through various events.

● Local Stars: Fresno State basketball players, including Isaiah Hill, Donavan Yap, Steven Vasquez,
Enoch Boakye, and Mykell Robinson, will participate, providing an opportunity for local fans to
see their favorite college athletes in action during the off-season.
● Community Engagement: The league is committed to giving back to the community. Previous
events have included back-to-school giveaways, youth camps, and meet-and-greet sessions with
players and local celebrities, such as Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer and former world boxing champion
Jose Ramirez.
Growth and Expansion:
Since its inception in 2022, the Fresno Pro-Am has rapidly grown in popularity and attendance. The
league has averaged 500 fans per game and has filled the Fresno City College gymnasium to capacity
during key events. The league’s success has not gone unnoticed, with plans for potential TV network or
broadcast deals in the future.
Quotes:
● Alton Williams, Commissioner: “We are excited to kick off Season 3 and continue to bring
high-quality basketball to Fresno. This league is about more than just the game; it’s about
community, growth, and providing a platform for our local talent to shine.”

compete during the summer. It’s always fun to play basketball and have an outlet like this in
