A day after sophomore McKae Amundsen led Clovis North to an impressive win at the Mission Prep Christmas Classic and earned Player of the Game honors, his older brother Connor did the same. McKae scored 21 points, including seven 3-pointers, on day 1 of the Christmas Classic to lead the Broncos to an 80-48 win over Mission Hills.
On Wednesday, it was Connor’s turn to be named Player of the Game. The older sibling posted 27 points, 10 assists and five steals to lead the Broncos to an 82-71 win over Capital Christian.
In his postgame interview, Connor said he was happy to see his brother getting recognition.
“I was happy for him. Seven for 10 from three. It was a great game for him. Our whole team has been cooking this whole weekend,” the senior said.
The Broncos will face Mission Prep on Thursday in the Christmas Classic.
