Fresno’s futbol aficionados came together on Saturday for a night of futsal and literature. The night kicked off with an introduction from local poet Joseph Rios. Former Fresno State professor Romeo Guzman then shared excerpts from his book, Pocho Blues. Finally, the group took the tennis court to engage in a friendly futsal match.
The event was organized by Pedro Navarro Cruz, community advocate at CNC Education Fund.
