Fresno native Jalen Green has a lot to be proud of after completing the third year of his NBA career. The former San Joaquin Memorial star was one of 17 players in the league who played all 82 games in the regular season. He was also one of six players who started every single regular season game.
Although the Houston Rockets missed the playoffs, Green is especially proud of what his team accomplished in the 2023-24 season. Green came into the year hoping to see his team collect at least 44 wins. Despite dealing with key injuries throughout the season, the Rockets finished the season with 41 wins.
“It shows that next year we have a shot,” Green told reporters after the Rockets ended the season on Sunday with a 116- 105 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Green averaged 19.6 ppg, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in his third year. As the Rockets made a furious playoff push In the last 25 games of the season, Green averaged 24.1 ppg, 5.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
